Back in February of 2009, we built the first C6/C6Z06 in the 8's. During the following winter, we decided to take the build in a different direction. Still keeping all factory interior components and pump gas, we decided to go single turbo. We mated that to 434 CID ERL Block, Callies Compstar Crank and Rods, Wiseco Pistons, GM LS7 6 Bolt heads, Stock LS7 Intake and Throttle Body. For the induction, we custom fitted a 91.5mm Turbo. All that power is transfered through a RPM Transmissions 4L80. The third pass ever on the new set up, the car went 8.58 @ 165mph. With a little more tweaking, we are hoping for 7's.
